Well, it has been another wonderful Christmas! Our first party was the kids' party with the Anderson family. All the kids brought books to take to Primary Children's Hospital. Santa came too but Bauer wouldn't sit on his lap. The next party we had was a dinner with Brian's family. Then we had the Neices Luncheon at Granny Bliss' house. Then there was Granny Bliss' annual party where we took family pictures, played the dreaded bells, and opened presents. Next was the Christmas Eve party and dinner at the Williams' house where Lorna had made all of the kids a silky blanket after which we exchanged presents with Brian's family. The next morning Santa came and Bauer got to open a lot more presents. Then we went to the Bliss' house for breakfast and a party where we opened even more presents. That night we went to the Anderson's house for dinner and a party and then we went with the Bliss' to see National Treasure. Our Christmas is always packed with lots of parties but it makes us glad that we have such close family to spend the holidays with.
Bauer was tons of fun this year. He was so excited that he didn't sleep well on Christmas Eve. I thought he was too young for that but I guess not. When we opened presents for the first time, he didn't quite understand but by Christmas he was a pro and wanted to help everyone open their presents. It is so much fun to see his excitement. He makes Christmas so much better than it has ever been.
