HOME SWEET HOME

We are finally home and it is so nice! Sleeping in our own bed was like heaven and our shower has never felt so good. We are so glad to spend time with our sweet Bauer too. Bauer came to the hospital a couple of times but we only saw him for a total of a few hours for more than a week that we were in the hospital. Brian is doing well. He still has some pain from both his kidneys and his stomach but he has already passed one kidney stone and the pain is more manageable. He is very exhausted though. The doctor warned him that he would be but I don't think Brian realized just how much he would be. Just showering drains his energy enough to put him down for a few hours. I am sure that as his blood supply builds back up and as his body recovers, he will gain more and more energy but for now he can just relax and enjoy being home. Thanks to everyone for the thoughts, prayers, calls, meals, visits, babysitting offers, house and yardwork help, and support. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends.
