FAMILY PICTURES

What a disaster!!! These poor pictures were doomed. We planned a day to take pictures for our Christmas card and of course it snowed all day so we weren't able to go. But we needed to get them done ASAP so we could create a card, get it printed, and mail it out. So we rescheduled for a couple of days later and I'm pretty sure it couldn't have gotten any colder that day. It was so miserable. Lucky we were wearing coats in the picture. We had to wait for kids to get out of school so by the time we got to our picture spot, we were already running out of time. As we pulled up, we noticed that the gates had been padlocked. Apparantly they close the Peace Gardens for the winter. Panick! Now what!? And we made our poor, sweet friends come out and then bring them to a place that we can't even get into. We ended up finding a place that snow had been piled up almost as high as the fence so we could just jump over. But then once we were over, we had to trudge through 2 feet of snow to get to a picture spot. So now we are freezing and soaked from the snow and have had to throw 4 kids over a fence and it's already too dark to really be taking pictures. So needless to say, they didn't turn out well. I feel so bad. We got enough to put on our Christmas card but I feel so bad about my neighbors.
